SUN MCS2000 SL - engine tester with HxC emulator

another mcs 2000 sl is back to life!

it was build in 1992 and was "upgraded" until 1998 with diesel smoke control and other "goodies".

dumping the copy-protected non-IBM-floppies with the HxC software was (thanks to this forum) quite easy.
I had a stock of about 15 different discs 7, of them with bad sectors.
but I managed to dump the V552 system disc and the v552 AU-2 disc to .hfe files.
this ist a matching late twin-disc version enabling the MCS2000It to test 3-12cyl. engines with free programs or test the lambda control system for german exhaust emission control test.

HxC emulator was set to "Emu Shugart", sound to maximum, lights and device "on".

Not sure that the file will help you without the HxC hardware :
The MCS2000 floppies use some copy protection stuff in their format, and this can not be write back to disk with normal/standard hardware.

Ok so since this seems to be an serious issue with these machines, please contact me by email.
We have a dump/copy service.
Just send me the disk to France and you will have the image (if the disk is in good condition).
