GOTEK USB FLOPPY EMULATOR KORG TRITON SOUNDS

Hello Dear Friends,

I have Build in my Korg Triton Classic an QD (QuickDisc) Gotek USB Floppy Emulator, The Seller by Ebay has installing the Firmware for my Korg Triton in this Emulator before he sending me this. He send me 20 Image Files too, he tell me that I have to put tihs Image Files on my USB Stick, If I need that I can make more Copys of this Image Files, that has Names like this:DSKHA0001.HFE
He sending me the Links about HxC Emulator Software and the Browser, I hve Download all and Installing on my Win10 PC ready.

So I dont Know how I can take my Triton Sounds on the Images! I Have downloading many Sounds from Korg Forums, but the Sounds are all PCG File Format! ok there are KFS and KMP Formates too, but I dont understand howe can I take all this Sounds on the USB Stick.

I Use the Batch Manage Tool 1.3 to Format the USB Stick, now I see there 100 Disks, so I will put the PCG Files, or KFS,KMP Files on this Disks, but it not works.
What I do Wrong? I Need your Help Please!

Hello,

This Gotek doesn't appear to have the HxC Firmware.

But you can install it with an usb stick :

Once install you should be able to use the Batch Manage Tool :

but the seller of this EMU by Ebay sending me this Links , same what you sending me!! This are the Sofwtare and Browser to use, but I can not take an Image on the Disk Partitions. The Images HFE there are empty, I dont know how can I creating an Full Image and get this on USB Stick, thats my Problem.
SO the Problem ist not on EMU USB Floppy Drive, Its on my PC System, I can not Create Full Image Files with Korg Triton Sounds, on my Pc.

This is the problem.

All these files and softwares are for the SD HxC Floppy Emulators hardware or Gotek with the HxC firmware. (HFE files are the native HxC Floppy Emulator file format)
Your Gotek doesn't have the HxC firmware installed. You need to install it first to be able to use the Batch Manage Tool.

No need to install any driver nor connect the gotek to the pc is you use the usb stick way.

So I do Writing an email , See Screenshot down, I hope it works, I never seen a Option to get the Firmware Online by this Link that you sending me, there is many drivers but not Online Services. I Hope it works, im wairing of answer of my email and let you know whats happen.

Yesterday Helps me Jeff many houers via Email, Thank you Jeff!!

I Have to Writing here what was the Problem for Others mybe wirh same Problems in Future:

The USB Floppy Emulator with display and 2 Buttuns and LED that Im Buy by Ebay for 41 Euro was an Hxc Gotek QD Emulator, so it was with Firmware about QD, its Mean Quck Disk, so for my Korg Trito i have to use 2HD Firmware and not Quick disk, that was my Mistake!

So Jeff has see it on the Pics from me, that i have sending him, the display shows end of the Firmware QD , so Quick Disk. Jeff tells me step by step howe I have to flash the EMU with right Firmawre from HxC USB Gotek , so we done! But it not works first.
Jeff telss me than taht I have to look about the Jumper on the Emulator, if there is an Jumper on S1, so Im looking about an see there is an Jumper on S1 but another second Jumper was there too, so Im remove this second Jumper, take the latest Firmware Updates from jeff on and uala, it works!

After this I would tkae PCG Data on the USb Stick, via Browser HxC, so I have to open the zip Folder of the Browser in the USB Stick as Floppy, and start the Browser from USB Stick like Jeff tells me.

So im starting the Browser from Floppy USB Stik, and get an Empty HFS like DSK000HFS image, and deleted the READ ME text there, and drop the PCG Files in the empty Arena in Browser. And Click on CLOSE to Save. Now it works on my Triton.

So what I have made Wrong first time?:
I selected in the PCG File Folders only the PCG Data, that was wrong, I put all the Folder completely in the empthy arena and close. so its works
