Howdy!
Long time Flashfloppy user, I jumped into HxC as I heard it has better support for my TRS-80 Model 4P disks format but I found that I can only select .HFE images and the oled is not listing any other file format.
I wonder if it’s due to a CFG misconfiguration or it’s by design.
Any other TRS80 users who could share your thoughts about this issue?
I appreciate in advance your help.
Gotek with HxC firmware doesnt see other than HFE format files
Re: Gotek with HxC firmware doesnt see other than HFE format files
What are these "other file format" ? The HxC firmware support IMG / RAW files. Please see the currently supported images :
https://hxc2001.com/docs/gotek-floppy-e ... mages.html
But since it seems you are using it on a TRS80 i suppose you are talking about dmk, jv3 file images :
dmk files : not supported "natively" on the Gotek and i don't plan to support this natively on the gotek. Supported by conversion with the HxC tool
jv3 files : not supported "natively" on the Gotek and i don't plan to support this natively on the gotek. Supported by conversion with the hxc tool
Pure raw files : "dsk/img files" : supported, but may need some configurations to set the disk geometry to emulate. I can add an entry in the firmware to make the setup easier if you provide me some typical dsk files.
