Korg Trinity Help - Gotek USB!

Hi, New to this and thought i had it sorted but still struggling....

I have a Gotek USB emulator + Serial to PC, added Pin headers,
Built Lead,
Bought Boot loader,
Flashed latest NOT GATED firmware....All seemed ok! - I have MO and S1 pinned.

Formatted USB FAT32
Used the USB HXcFloppyEmulator - 1.44K disk image made...Added Patch files CFG... named dska0000.hfe and dropped onto USB

Added one CFG file - tried the Index and the norm...

turned on Trinity with USB - seems to read but I get just UNFORMATTED?? No files??

What am i doing wrong?

Got it working! And changes disk too!

No advice needed now.... god know why it works now?

So... it works.... sort of!?

I DONT have the triple digit display on the Gotek displaying the DISK increments....it displays NOR?

I CAN press one of the buttons on the Gotek which DOES increment up/down but its a guess.....then press DISK on the Trinity....

ITs SLOW to access the drive! very slow! And loading is slower than a floppy?

Do I have something linked wrong or setup wrong?

MO + S1 Linked - Trinity Firmware installed..... 2GB flash disk formatted FAT32, NORM CFG file installed and 2 disk images (which i can see)

Can i get the LED display to say what DISK is accessed? Can i get it to go faster?

Loading light on the FLASH disk is always active??

Troubleshooting

Gotek drive with 3 digits 7 segments display:

This doesn't work : I see "NOR" on the display when inserting the USB stick

The emulator is in "NORmal mode".

Since you don't have any OLED or LCD screen, you need to use the indexed mode or the "autoboot" mode if you have an Amiga/Atari ST/CPC.
In this mode you must use the indexed config file and name the files images DSKA0000.XXX, DSKA0001.XXX, DSKA0002.XXX (replace XXX by the original file extension.) See the usage page for more details.

To sum up : Use the indexed mode config file and file name convention !

The Trinity will not see disk images that are formatted on the usb at 1.44K? Only 720K? is this a bug?

I know the Trinity CAN take 1.44HD disks.
