I am a very new user. I just acquired this Kaypro 4. The floppy emulator was already installed when. I got the unit. It seems to work fine. When I powered it up it booted fine. If I do a DIR command I can see all the files on the currently installed A drive image. I have successfully done a copy to create a formatted disk on. the b drive. So far so good. I can see what is on the SD card by pushing the forward and back buttons. The previous owner used a rather different naming convention for his disk images. There are several on the Sa card. When I use forward or back to get to a disk image, and press the center button to load it. the lcd window show that image as active. The question is, how can I see what files are on the disk image. The DIR command doesn't work. Another question is, when I power off and then power on, the a drive has what ever the last disk image was that was selected, and not the boot disk image. Is that the way this is supposed to work. I have downloaded all the user manuals and the software necessary to create software from the archives. Final Question can I rename the disk images to something that reflects what software is actually on the disk.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out on this

You can change the emulator behavior with the hxc software. Which behavior / setting to do you want to use ?
