Gotek flash floppy akai s900

Hello I think I made a wrong purchase, is it possible to set up a gotek flash floppy on akai s900 without hxc?

The hxc firmware can be installed on this with just an usb stick. Quite easy to do.

No with the usb stick method this is quite simple : copy some files to the stick to update the drive.

Because I am confused I am gonna ask again, I have to install the firmware and after the software, or I don't need the firmware and I can install only the software

You have to install the hxc bootloader and then hxc firmware. All of this can be done with an USB stick.
