I will get back to you regarding presets as I haven't checked that side out yet. I'll get some modulation going in chords and see how she is with that βΊ.

Update:Jeff wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:54 pm Ok then lets restart from the beginning.
Remove all files from your stick.
Unpack the files from the attached zip file.
- format each images ! (none are formatted).
- Post back them here !
- Try to save multi disk sample.
Note : wait 4 seconds before accessing the disk after changing the disk number, the auto select delay may be the issue.
Regarding the read speed this is probably a gap3 parameter setting issue. i will check this and come back to you with something to try.
Only just had time to load a few samples and make big patches using chords. Saving both short and long samples gave reasonable preset save/load times to previous times recorded. Some longer than others but obviously due to length of sample and amount of modulation.
So I would say all is well!
Do you have a tutorial for changing existing floppies to DSK.... images please? (IPF Converter?)
Just want to say thank you for your time and effort for all of this Jean!!

Re: Serial Bridge does not detect gotek
I have a e6400 as well and trying to update the EOS version from 4.02 to 4.62 via HxC flashed gotek - the one without encoder. 7 Part Screen, two buttons and green led only.
One issue that is this thing is slowwww.
The second issue is that i can't be sure of the jumper setting on the gotek. Mine is currently set on s1 because that's the only setting in which i have witnessed that the led tuns on when there's a usb attached.
I am not sure if i am successfully formatting hfe images for the gotek. I have the EOS update images - in img format. downloaded from the bottom of this page http://zine.r-massive.com/e-mu-eiv-seri ... y-library/.
But i have not managed to boot from them. Probably didn't manage to properly convert them. Has anybody succeeded in this?
I've also tried the test images that you have attached. Could not read or format them
