I have the opportunity to buy a used Rev B board, but before I go ahead, could someone let me know what I will be missing function wise from the RevC boards?
Thanks
nevermind, I see that the revB does not support writing on the Amiga, no big problem to me
Difference between revB and revC?
Re: Difference between revB and revC?
Yes no E-mu / Amiga Write support on a rev B board.mimo wrote:nevermind, I see that the revB does not support writing on the Amiga, no big problem to me
Note : A rev B board can be modded to be equivalent to a rev C board (including E-mu / Amiga Write support)
Re: Difference between revB and revC?
Is this still valid? Does we only need the microchip 23k256 or if we can get another reference for a 256Kbit SPI SRAM it will be OK? (ie does it rely on specific features of the 23k256)Jeff wrote:Yes no E-mu / Amiga Write support on a rev B board.mimo wrote:nevermind, I see that the revB does not support writing on the Amiga, no big problem to me

Yes is still valid. If the other is 100% equivalent to 23k256, this should works. Otherwise not...Godzil wrote:Is this still valid?
