Enclosure options?

Post by CoolColJ »

It seems people just have the board hanging out of their synth/sampler?

Are there any options for the unit to be mounted in a nice floppy style front end?

A user on this board did an amazing enclosure/mounting job for his Ensoniq EPS using an old disk drive.

For my E2 (5.25" drive), I used a disk drive drawer that I found on ebay and cut out the holes for LCD & buttons.

If you guys offered an optional simple external box enclosure with openings for the display, buttons, LCD brightness control and the connector, it would be much more enticing.
Then I can run a cable out from the original floppy opening into the unit and then stick the box with some double sided tape over the opening to cover it up

I don't have the know how, resources and tools to create a box for it.
I'm willing to pay and extra $10-15 for it

Those look great! Very interested. Is the price there for just the enclosure? If not, will you sell them separately?

no,no..

CASE will never been sold separetelly because for casing angled 34 pin header is used ( and little reworked with hoir station to turn around plastic ) and plenty of trick to fit all inside.

trust me, i have destroyed 4-5 emuls before it worked for me...so - NO.
