Hi all!
TL;DR: Gotek flashed "003" a few times, then stopped responding to the world. No longer recognized by the bootloader program with the BOOT jumper installed.
Tonight I was trying to flash a new Gotek with the latest HxC. I did the bootloader install process using the serial/uart method then removed the BOOT jumper. The 7-seg display was showing Ldr and I installed a USB drive with the latest HxC firmware. All of the 7-seg LEDs flickered for a couple seconds, then started flashing 003. I tried power cycling the Gotek and re-inserting the USB stick with a different power supply. The same behavior, but after a few flashes of "003", all of the LEDs went out.
Now, it seems completely dead. There's no 7-seg display or LED activity. When I try to re-do the bootloader procedure (with the BOOT jumper), the Windows bootloader utility doesn't communicate with it anymore.
Has anyone run into this before?
In hindsight after searching the forums, I probably had the USB stick formatted incorrectly to create the initial 003 error.
