Im putting a single file into a disk image using the disk browser .smc files to use on my snes super wildcard , the process is going to take an age doing this manually
Is there a way to automate the process from a folder full of .smc files and create a .img file containing 1 smc file inside 1.6mb fat12 .img file ?

That does not work either it creates an .img file but if you then try and open it with floppy disk file browser it says
No DOS Image Loaded !
Im unsure how this would work as an .smc file is not a disk image ?
im wanting to create a dos floppy image with an .smc on it

Yes sure, but the software should automatically create an dos image with the smc file.
please share one of them.
This supersized img is valid... if you keep it in HFE format for the HxC emulators.
What are you trying to do exactly ? Are you using it with the hxc floppy emulators ?
The problem is the output format for a super wildcard needs to be 1.44 mb or 1.6mb dos format , so im unsure as to why this program is creating supersize images when the files going on are 1.50mb approx max ?
Can the output format for smc in the batch converter be changed to 1.6mb dos .img ? as that's all you would ever need for smc files ?
creating this format manually with the disk browser works fine
