Akai S950 Question.

hi. i got some question about Akai S950.

i install a Gotek drive with HxC flashed.

and it works but here's question.

i knew we can use 1000 floppy images.

i downloaded "QuickInstall FloppyDiskImages."

and i found Zip file for S950, there's only 30 Images.

so here's question.

does it works if i just copy and paste that image files?

i mean just copy DISKA0030.HFE and rename it as DISKA0031.HFE and 0032, 0033, 0034...

i also have HxC Rev.F for my SP1200. and there's only 100 images. can i copy and paste it too?

and i wonder does it works if change images name.

well, S950's image names OK but Sp1200's image name starts EMPTYDISK000

so i want to change it like just DISK000.

please let me know. tell me you guys experience.

and if i can do that, is there some program which is copy and rename it at once?

Yes you can copy/paste the images.
You can made a batch file to copy them 1000 times.

do you have a simple .bat file for duplicating the images?

I tried making one myself and it went fine from DSKA0000 -> DSKA0009. I had problems with telling my .bat to go from DSKA0009 to DSKA0010 -> DSKA0999
