I have flashed (with the help of Jeff) mi Gotek drive... All appears ok, the display show hHc.
The drive is NOT connected to pc, only power.
I plug a USB stick (variuos tried...) with the config file and some images (named 001.hfe, 002.hfe etc.) but nothing happens, the display show always hHc and the buttons does nothing...
Some suggestions?
Thank you
Gotek, how it works?
Re: Gotek, how it works?
To do what ? Which system ?
If you are not using it on ST/CPC/Amiga, you must to activate the indexed mode into the cfg file and name your HFE image DSKA0000.HFE, DSKA0001.HFE, DSKA0002.HFE...

Hi Jeff!Jeff wrote:To do what ? Which system ?

Using new names works! (the display cycles through the images)
the right button advances by one
NOTE: the left button moves back but with "fast repeat" - it seems missing debouncing/one shot
Question1: if I push both the two buttons nothing particular happens. is this correct or they have a function? (i.e. select)
If I am not mistaken the gotek drive use button 1 to advance units, button 2 to advance tens and both button to advance hundreds; there is not back button but, in my opinion, this mode is faster to move from 491 to 22 or vice-versa

Question2: if I connect the lcd display and deselect indexed mode can navigate through image names and/or diskette labels ?
Thank you
