ensoniq mirage dsk 8 problem

Hello!
I've a problem with ensoniq mirage dsk8 keyboard.
I try to load operating system, i choose the os32.hfe file in hxc, then i reset the mirage.
Loading start but stop almost immediatly at 11/80.
After some minutes (4-5min) loading start again from 11/80 to 27/80 and operating system seem to be fully loaded .
Now if i try to load any other disk image (samples) loading stop always at 02/80 and mirage display show "nf" not formatted disk
What's the problem?
I think something not ok in configuration or for ribbon cable.
Hxc is configured as RA / id0 , ribbon cable is reversed on the motherboard as i read in another post.
(if ribbon cable not reversed on mother board side , no loading at all)

Have you tried to change the interface mode ? (remove the sd, press select -> Interface cfg).

I've tried to change configuration in shugart but loading problem still the same.
What other configuration combination could i try?

Update the firmware (in your email box)
Then :
start the dsk8, once done format one of your image with the dsk8 and send me back the HFE file (the OS file and the formatted HFE image )

Nothing...i cant load anything...only the os after 5 minutes of waiting.
I dont know how to format without the frmt disk image.
Some infos/instructions to add.
very strange...its strange that emulator work with reversed ribbon cable,
it's strange the pause during loading the os ....the problem is configuration i think

What do mean exactly ?

I am very sorry, but without any pictures of your setup (The HxC + jumper/switch settings,the old floppy disk drive model + the jumper setting, the images that your are trying to use (HFE & sources img), i will have a lot of difficulties to help you...

unfortunately, i am not a soothsayer

Uh...apologize...sorry but my english is not so good.
I mean that configuration is not so simple , maybe the standard manual
need to be implemented.
However i'll take some pic when possible.

FAT32-formatted Kingston SD HC 4GB card

Files installed on card is the default HXCSDFE.CFG file, OS32 and MASOS downloaded from elsewhere here.

It will load up to track 11 and then pause. Resuming after a minute or so and load the OS.

Why does it pause ?

Also, I could use a known working sound-disk image to verify that the Mirage functions properly.

Actually, it started working....

It needed a good warm up. Now even the original diskdrive functions.

I´ll proceed to copy the disklibrary now and make images of it.
