Slim SD HxC mechanical drawing inaccurate in manual

Post by TERRA Operative »

Hi,

I'm currently designing a bracket for my recently acquired Slim SD HxC and have noticed that the dimensions shown in the board Mechanical Drawing on page 14 are inaccurate.

The mounting holes are designated as 7.5mm and 72.5mm from the SD Card end of the PCB and 3.5mm in from the sides, but in reality they are 18mm and 73mm respectively and 4mm in from the sides, also the board is shown as 89mm long and 59mm wide, but I measure 90mm and 60mm respectively.

Has there been a board revision that alters the dimensions, or is the manual incorrect?

the "7.5mm" is definitively a typo. Should be read 17.5mm.

There is no other board revision and i agree that your measurements seem more accurate.
Anyway i recommend you to use the gerber files to double check the dimensions :

( I note that the manual need to be fixed ;) )

Great thanks!

The Gerber file is a great help to get everything aligned. :)
