Not working - how to debug

Post by fisu »

I have the older version from the files that used to be on the web site. I finally had time to assemble it but it is now working. The display works and it reads the SD card but the computer does not recognize the floppy.

Any ideas how to search for the problem? I have a logic analyzer which might help to track the problem (if I knew what I'm should be looking for)...

Does the latest firmware work with the older SD card emulator design? The new design seems to have fewer gates.

The last firmware compatible with the prototype is v0.2.2.0.
There are no more development planned on the prototype version.

Some possible cause: bad soldering, bad jumper setting, or bad floppy cable connection.
