SD Card Version need URGENT HELP PLEASE

hi every one urgent help needed

when i connect the floppy cable to the Amiga computer the d4 led lights up i switch the Amiga on and d4 goes off when the Amiga logo comes up and the floppy light on the Amiga goes out, i select an image from the SD card and press switch s3 then on the LCD it switchs to saying track 0 and freezes there and d4 just blinks intermittently ive tried several different images of different things and i am now baffled any help would be very much appreciated

hi every one i sorted it and now my sd floppy emulator board is working fine.

Hi xybots, what did solve the problem, i'am verry interested because i'am building the standalone as well. Still waiting for 3 more components :)

The forum looks almost dead here.

What power source did you use, voltage and amperes ?

you can use a power supply between 7V and 12V. 9V is recommended.
500ma should be ok (this is depending on the lcd backlight consumption)

@Jeff

Will the internal Amiga floppy connector fit for voltage, the 12 volt wire ?

it should. but check that the 7805 is not becoming too hot.

hi everyone

no i thought i did but i have built both boards i had but still crashes when it gets half way through reading the image on the sd card now, but one light comes on on the board now, any help would be appreciated.

what is crashing exactly ? the board or the computer?

hi jeff the board was crashing half way reading any file, but i put new 74ls01 chips in and now both boards are back up & running on the amiga, if i wanted to use this on the atari st what jumpers j3 setting should i use. thanks great idea jeff well done!

how did you program the PIC ?

i'am trying with the pickit2, but without succes, can you probaly help me?

hi jasper

i replaced the 74ls01 chips and made sure the voltage was 9v and they are working hope this helps, both my boards are working now. if you need more help let me know.
