Unable to get USB version working

Received my white USB version from Peter some time ago (Thanks again Peter) but I have not have time to use it until now.

I'm using for replacing PC 1.44 floppy drive only. I am getting an error "The device is not ready" then I try to "DIR A:" or read a file from it. Using WinXP pro.

Reading the log file, everything looks like it loaded correct and it converted the folder (I'm using drag-n-drop) just fine.

As for the LED's, I have a green (power) led on, and the blue led(host connection??) is on, the Red led lights up when I try to access the drive along with the orange led (no idea what the orange led is for??) flashing on for a moment then off before the red led goes off.

any thoughts would be welcome.
