HxC gotek - disk drive not ready
Hello everyone! I've been struggling for a day and a half with replacing the floppy with an emulator. I have an Ensonic EPS-1. While working briefly with the floppy, I found that the standard 800K DD does not work. By trial and error, I was able to determine that the floppy disks that work are formatted for 820K DD 82/2/10x512 (working for my eps when was with a diskete). Here is my progress. The exact model of the device I have is https://www.gotekemulator.com/P_view.asp?pid=75 SFR1M44-U100LQD I managed to load the OS and boot the system using the previously made .hfe files and indexed .cfg. And so far with the progress. All attempts to convert an .img to .hfe end with the instruments being displayed, but when I try to load them, it says "disk drive not ready". I tried to update the firmware - it doesn't work (e01). But anyway, the current one is one of the latest - 3.42. However, there is no preset for formatting 820K DD in the convertor from the .img to .hfe . I could try with manual settings, but I need to know exactly what they are. Any idea what to do? ps The instriments from the prebuilt folder are not loading either! The only thing I managed to run is the system! Something general is wrong, i thing! the jumper is set to P0.

Hi folks!
I'm struggling with the same issue!
The setup is: An EPS Classic with a Gotec drive SFR1M44-U100LQD, flashed with the actual HxC firmware : HxCFEUSB_V5_2_3_1a_U100LQD.UPD and a special .cfg send to me by Mr. Del Nero.
Unluckily, my EPS display is broken so I can't pick up what massage the machine exactly sends. It's mostly a try and error job using all known shortcuts the EPS provides. So far the basic communication between the gotek and the sampler works, because loading the OS (2.49) in an automatic manner is fine.
Afterwards nothing else will work! Rather loading nor saving instruments is successful and the Gotec is not really reacting by the button actions performed at the keyboard panel. Only the green LED seems to realise that an entry was made.
Has someone been sucsessful by running the SFR1M44-U100LQD on the EPS - what's the trick?
