Skip SD card detection possible ?

Post by freshworks »

Hi,

Is there any possibility to skip te SD card detection, so i mean when i put the SD card in a floppydisc cable, i don't have the presence and protection switch ?

How can i simulate these or make a simple workaround ?

Thanks and greetz,
Jasper

Hi Jeff,

i mean i don't have a SD card socket at the moment and used this sollution:

So now i don't have the:

SD_WR_PROTECT and SD_PRESENT connections and the standalone always says no card detected.

Cheers,

SD_WR_PROTECT and SD_PRESENT are not used by the firmware. the firmware try to initialize the sdcard to check its presence.

Hi Jeff,

i've killed an SD cardreader and used the SD slot, now it's working OK.

Thanks,
Jasper
