I'm planning to buy an HcX emulator for my PC-98, whose floppy drive can still read and write floppy disks, but it can't boot from floppy any more, which is annoying for games that have their own OS and boot system. Plus 3 mode floppy drives are more and more hard to find.
Before moving on to the next step and buy HcX, I have several questions:
- Is there a difference between the various revisions of the HcX or is it just a case issue ?
- Is the HcX capable of writing a PC-98 boot sector and of course booting from a bootable PC-98 floppy image ?
